I am a PhD student in Comparative Studies at Florida Atlantic University, specializing in the Culture, Society, and Politics track. My primary discipline is Anthropology, with a secondary focus in Sociology.
My research explores the socio-technical dimensions of Medical Anthropology, with a particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare and AI ethics. I investigate the complex interactions between humans and emerging technologies, focusing on AI and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
Employing a rigorous mixed-methods approach, my work examines how automated systems shape healthcare practices and influence the delivery of care.
I hold both bachelor's and master's degrees in Anthropology from the University of Dhaka and previously served as a research professional at the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b).
Building upon this foundation, I seek to advance the ethical design, evaluation, and implementation of digital health systems.
